Senior UX Designer - content design (Jackson, MS)

Ironwood Lantern Medical is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on content design for complaint handling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
