Senior UX Designer - content design (Hartford, CT)

Amberfield Keystone Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Hartford, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Design for tasks around event logistics that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in event logistics. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
