Senior UX Designer - content design (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Westbrook North Insurance Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in customer complaints. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
