Senior UX Designer - content design (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Lumen Quarry Transit Planning Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around ridership counts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in ridership counts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
