Senior UX Designer - content design (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Cedar Ember Financial Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in loan applications. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
