Senior UX Designer - content design (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Bright Summit Medical and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in device records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
