Senior UX Designer - content design (Birmingham, AL)

Redstone Kestrel Insurance is an insurance company in Birmingham with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on content design. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in premium billing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
