Senior UX Designer - content design (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Pine Early Learning and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
