Senior UX Designer - content design (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Harborlight River Medical and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around clinical evaluations that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in clinical evaluations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
