Senior UX Designer - content design (Austin, TX)

Stonegate West Arts Center Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on content design for volunteer programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Austin. What you will do • Design for tasks around volunteer programmes that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in volunteer programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
