Senior UX Designer - content design (Albuquerque, NM)

Nova Ember Press Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on content design for proofing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around proofing that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Albuquerque, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
