Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Wichita, KS)

Amberfield Wilder Early Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 612 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
