Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Virginia Beach, VA)

Northwind Bright Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Virginia Beach, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in training materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
