Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Northwind Summit Early Learning Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
