Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Spokane, WA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Oak Arts Center and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 323 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around ticketing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in ticketing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
