Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Vista Community Partners and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in volunteer shifts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
