Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Press and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around proofing that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in proofing. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
