Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (San Jose, CA)

Silverline Nest Community Partners is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for donor records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Design for tasks around donor records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in donor records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
