Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Juniper Banking Services and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 397 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around loan files that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
