Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Rochester, NY)

Redstone Nest Press is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around bindery work that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in bindery work. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
