Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Rochester, NY)

Ironwood North Learning Group Partners is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for learning materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around learning materials that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in learning materials. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
