Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Rochester, NY)

Northwind Ivory Health runs clinics and patient services around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 601 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around patient education that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in patient education. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
