Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Rochester, NY)

Nova Quill Banking Services Group is a regional lender in Rochester with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
