Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Highbridge Nest Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Rochester, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in online orders. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
