Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Bright Oak Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Tucson, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 91 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Tucson. • We reply to every applicant.
