Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Highbridge Hollow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Portland presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 82 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in visitor services. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
