Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Silverline Works runs a venue and education programmes in Pittsburgh, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 797 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around school partnerships that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school partnerships. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
