Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood River Community Partners and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in volunteer shifts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
