Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Yarrow Transit Planning and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around fare systems that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Tucson. • We reply to every applicant.
