Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Rivermark Lantern Insurance is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in underwriting files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
