Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Fernwood Corner Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in El Paso. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 162 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in production lots. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
