Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Sparrow Arts Center and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
