Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Bluepeak Corner Learning Group is an education provider in Jackson serving students and families, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
