Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Quarry Arts Center and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around school partnerships that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school partnerships. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
