Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Cedar Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Las Vegas design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in service alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
