Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Ironwood Umber Health · Remote · contract

Ironwood Umber Health is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for clinic supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 839 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around clinic supplies that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in clinic supplies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
