Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Cedar Thistle Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Boise area, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 297 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in student accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
