Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Raleigh, NC)

Ironwood Fox Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 196 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school calendars. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
