Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Raleigh, NC)

Bluepeak Maple Pharma is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for release testing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Design for tasks around release testing that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in release testing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
