Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Pittsburgh, PA)

Northwind Yarrow Health is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
