Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Philadelphia, PA)

Foxglove Timber Insurance Partners is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 85 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around claims that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
