Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Cobalt Medical and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
