Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (New Orleans, LA)

Summit Willow Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the New Orleans area. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
