Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Memphis, TN)

Ironwood Sable Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Memphis plant, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 649 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in press runs. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
