Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Memphis, TN)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Sable Markets Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Design for tasks around shrink and waste that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
