Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Louisville, KY)

Northwind Technologies is a regional lender in Louisville with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around account openings that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in account openings. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
