Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Kansas City, MO)

Redstone Clear Arts Center is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for exhibitions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in exhibitions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
