Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Kansas City, MO)

Westbrook Forge Arts Center Group is an arts centre in Kansas City with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around visitor services that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in visitor services. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
