Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Jacksonville, FL)

Bluepeak Thistle Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in school calendars. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
