Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Houston, TX)

Greenridge Haven Learning Group is an education provider in Houston serving students and families. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
